摘要:	隨著視訊擷取設備價格的下降，視訊監視系統已廣泛地應用在各種人、物、或環境的監視，其中最大的應用是對人的監視，諸如監測限制區內有人非法進入及監測老人在屋內跌倒。近來常有住家內幼童發生意外的新聞報導，雖然兒童福利法規定六足歲以下幼童不可獨處，需有人全天候照顧，但看顧人員難免有疏失，而發生意外，因此本研究將用視訊監視系統對住家內幼童的行為作監視，並利用影像處理技術判斷幼童可能的危險行為，諸如爬高跌落、玩火、或開門外出等，當系統偵測到危險行為，便發出警訊提醒看顧人員注意。 Due to the cost-down of video capture devices, video surveillance systems are widely applied to monitor people, objects, or environment. The most common application is people's monitoring, such as detecting illegal entrants in restricted areas and detecting elderly people's fall in house. Currently, news frequently reports that children have accidents occurred in house. Although, the Children's Welfare Law prohibits parents from leaving children alone who are under the age of six and required to take care all the day, the accidents are still occurred, occasionally, due to parents' or babysitters' carelessness. This study will develop an automatic and intelligent in-house video surveillance system to detect, track and analyze children's motions. This system uses digital image processing techniques to determine if the children have dangerous behavior, such as climbing balcony wall, playing with fire, and opening door to go out. When the dangerous behavior is detected, the system will automatically alert parents or babysitter.
