The CrFeCoNiCuAl(subscript x) multi-component alloys (x=0.5, 1 and 2) were prepared by arc-melting method, followed by corrosion test. The results indicated that the corrosion resistances of these three CrFeCoNiCuAl(subscript x) alloys were better than that of commercial 304 stainless steel after immerging in HCl 50% or H2SO4 50%; but the corrosion resistances of these three CrFeCoNiCuAl(subscript x) alloys were worse than that of commercial 304 stainless steel after immerging in HNO3 50%. Moreover, CrFeCoNiCuAl0.5 alloy had best corrosion resistance among these three CrFeCoNiCuAl(subscript x) alloys, because it had only one FCC phase and thus small segregation.
