This paper investigated an alternative heating method on the TiO2 solgel film of Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC). Comparisons of oven and microwave heating are studied. Three heating processes (1) 450℃ in oven heater; (2) 250℃ in microwave heater and (3) microwave heater 250℃ in microwave heater and then 450℃ in oven heater are performed. The TGA results showed that PEG disperser was remained in the film while heating by process (2). XRD peaks showed that anatase TiO2 were obtained in both processes (1) and (3). FE-SEM and AFM photos showed that average micropores were 58.15nm and 81.83nm and surface roughness were 17.83nm and 13.56nm, respectively. 2.72Ωcm^(-1) and 0.61Ωcm^(-1) were given when measured by a four point probe. From the above results addition of microwave preheated showed lower surface roughness and resistance and larger micropore of TiO2 film. And the efficiency of 2.79% and 4.12% were obtained respectively while the TiO2 film were fabricated into a DSSC. Microwave preheating enhanced the physical propertces of TiO2 film.
