Abstract:	目的：使用PerFix人工網膜於腹股疝氣修補已逐日普及。我們收集了近年的使用經驗，同時透過病患與醫師的評估來了解整體的滿意度。方法：收集從2002年1月1日至2003年9月30日，在本院使用PerFix人工網膜作腹股疝氣修補之病例，整理相關病歷資料作描述性分析。同時透過病患電訪及醫師問卷填答，來了解病患及醫師的滿意度。結果：總共有70位病患，76例疝氣使用此技術。其中55位病患接受電話訪問。病患平均年齡62.2歲(28-86)，平均手術時間94分鐘(40-235)，平均住院日3天(1-9)。32例需要術後止痛劑，無死亡病例，追蹤發現有一例復發，12例抱怨異物感，4例抱怨長期腹股疼痛。46例病患對手術結果感到滿意。結論：PerFix人工網膜腹股疝氣修補是一種安全、簡單的方法，同時具有住院時間短及低復發率等特點。異物感及慢性腹股疼痛是仍需進一步研究的主要問題。 Background and purpose: PerFix mesh hemiorrhaphy is widely used in treatment of inguinal hernia. We collected our past cases and investigated patient and physician satisfaction. Methods: Medical records of patients with documented inguinal hernia between January 1, 2002 and September 30, 2003 were reviewed and descriptive analysis was performed. Patient and physician satisfaction were evaluated by a telephone interview and questionnaire. Results: Seventy patients had 76 hernias repaired by the PerFix mesh technique. Fifty-five patients were interviewed by telephone. The mean operation time was 94 minutes and mean length of stay was 3.0 days. Thirty-two cases needed post-operative analgesic injection. No deaths occurred, and only one case of recurrence was found. Twelve cases had complaints for foreign body sensation while four cases reported chronic groin pain. Overall, 46 patients were satisfied with the surgical results. Conclusions: PerFix mesh hemiorrhaphy is an easy and safety method for treatment of inguinal hernia due a shorter length of stay and lower recurrence rate. The complaints of foreign body sensation and chronic groin pain ramain more research.
